Who We Are

What "Aya" Means

Aya is an Adinkra symbol from West Africa shaped like a fern, a plant known for its endurance and ability to thrive in difficult conditions.
It represents resourcefulness, resilience, and the strength to keep growing no matter the circumstances. We chose it because it reflects the people we serve: individuals and families navigating change with courage.

Why "You Are Safe Here"

Inviting a caregiver into your home is personal. It means trusting someone with your routines, your privacy, and often your most vulnerable moments. “You Are Safe Here” is our commitment that this trust will never be taken lightly. It shapes how we screen caregivers, how we train them, and how we show up, with consistency, respect, and genuine care.

Our Philosophy of Care

We believe good care starts with relationships, not tasks. A caregiver who knows your story provides better support than one simply following a checklist.
That’s why we invest time upfront in matching, and why we stay involved after care
begins, checking in, adjusting plans, and making sure the relationship is working for everyone.
